Our approach

How an engagement actually runs

Four stages, in the same order every time. The point of the sequence is that nothing gets recommended before it is understood, and nothing gets promised before it is scoped.

Discover

We document what exists: systems, dependencies, licences, network, backups, identities and the things that already worry you. Discovery is deliberately unhurried, because recommendations built on assumptions are expensive.

  • Automated discovery across devices, servers and cloud tenants
  • Interviews with the people who use the systems every day
  • A written inventory you keep regardless of what happens next

Assess

Findings are validated, ranked by risk and effort, and costed. You get a document that distinguishes the genuinely urgent from the merely untidy, written to be read by someone who is not a technologist.

  • Risks expressed as business impact rather than severity scores
  • Effort and indicative cost against every recommendation
  • A clear statement of what we would do first, and why

Secure & modernise

Agreed work is delivered in stages. Each stage leaves you measurably better off than before, has a rollback plan, and is scheduled around your operational calendar rather than ours.

  • Identity and email hardening almost always come first
  • Change windows agreed in advance and honoured
  • Progress reported against the plan you approved

Manage & improve

Routine operation continues: support, patching, monitoring, backup verification and review. The roadmap is revisited as your business changes, so the plan stays current rather than becoming a document from last year.

  • Scheduled review against the roadmap
  • Evidence produced as a by-product of running the controls
  • Budget forecasting for renewals and replacement

Request a consultation

Tell us what you have and what is worrying you

A consultation is a conversation, not a sales presentation. We will ask what your environment looks like, what has been deferred and what would hurt most if it stopped working, then tell you what we would address first.
