Internet & Connectivity
When everything is cloud, the connection is the business.
A single circuit is a single point of failure
Once mail, files, phones and line-of-business systems are hosted, an internet outage is a full stop. Yet many organisations still rely on one circuit from one provider, with no tested failover and no clear route to escalate a fault.
We design connectivity around what an hour of downtime actually costs you, and we deal with the provider so you do not have to.
Scope
What we handle
Requirement sizing, provider and circuit selection, resilient design with automatic failover, router and edge configuration, monitoring, and fault management with the provider on your behalf.
Circuit selection
Objective comparison of what is available at your address, with contention and support terms considered.
Resilience and failover
A second path that takes over automatically and has been tested doing so.
Edge configuration
Routing, traffic priority and firewall integration configured properly.
Monitoring
Circuit health and quality watched, so degradation is caught before it is reported.
Traffic prioritisation
Voice and critical application traffic protected from everything else on the link.
Provider management
Faults raised, referenced and chased by us rather than by your staff.
What you get
What changes when internet & connectivity is handled well
- Continued operation when a circuit fails.
- Connectivity sized for what your business actually pushes through it.
- Someone else on hold with the provider.
- Voice and video that stay usable under load.
A practical note on internet & connectivity
Two circuits from the same provider, over the same physical path, are not resilience. Genuine diversity requires different providers or different physical routes, and we check that before recommending it.
How we deliver it
How we deliver internet & connectivity
Assess
Current usage, downtime cost and available services at your locations.
Design and procure
Resilient design specified, providers compared, contracts reviewed.
Implement and monitor
Cutover managed, failover tested, ongoing monitoring in place.
