Microsoft 365

The platform your business runs on, configured properly.

Most tenants are running on defaults

Microsoft 365 is usually adopted quickly and configured once. Sharing settings stay permissive, security features included in the licence are never switched on, and retention is whatever the default happened to be.

We configure the tenant deliberately: who can share what with whom, how identity is protected, what is retained, and what is backed up separately from Microsoft.

Scope

What we manage

Tenant configuration, identity and access, mail flow and protection, SharePoint and OneDrive structure and sharing policy, Teams governance, licence optimisation and independent backup of tenant data.

Tenant configuration

Settings reviewed against how your business actually needs to work, not left at defaults.

Identity protection

Multi-factor and conditional access implemented for the whole tenant, including administrators.

SharePoint and Teams structure

A file and site structure people can navigate, with sharing controlled rather than blanket-open.

Mail protection

Filtering, sender authentication and mailbox rule monitoring configured and maintained.

Tenant backup

Independent backup of mail, files and sites, which Microsoft's own retention does not replace.

Licence review

Assigned licences matched to actual use, including features you already pay for and do not use.

What you get

What changes when microsoft 365 is handled well

  • A tenant configured for your business rather than for the setup wizard.
  • Security features you already own actually turned on.
  • Files organised and shared deliberately.
  • Tenant data recoverable independently of Microsoft.

A practical note on microsoft 365

Retention in Microsoft 365 is not backup. Deleted items age out, and a compromised administrator can remove far more than a recycle bin will return. Independent backup is the difference.
